What is an intensive course?
An Intensive Course is designed to deliver a set of driving lessons over a very short period of time. It will help you to pick up the fundamental skills to become a confident driver.
Intensive Driving Courses are suitable for those people who want to pass their driving test in a very short period of time and do not want to spend months and years learning.
Our courses range from a couple of days to 3-5 weeks
Who will my instructor be?
We have a number of dedicated Approved Driving Instructors (ADI’s) that are friendly, reliable and local to your area. You will have the same ADI throughout the whole course. They will provide one-to-one tuition. We have both male and female instructors.
What car will I learn in?
Our ADI’s have their own cars that are insured and have dual controls for yours and other road users safety. There are a range of cars, depending on who your instructor will be.
Can I learn in an automatic / manual car?
Yes, of course. We offer both automatic and manual courses. If you are unsure of which one to choose, please give us a call and we help you decide.

How much will the course cost?
This all depends on the amount of hours you have chosen and the transmission (Automatic / Manual)
How do I pay for my course?
All courses must be paid for online by credit or debit card using our secure payment method. You can also pay by Paypal. Under no circumstances must you pay the driving instructor.
Are there any other costs involved?
The price that you see is the price you pay. No hidden extras.
Do I need to pass my Theory test before I do the driving test?
Yes, we are unable to book a driving test if you have not passed the Theory test. If you are yet to pass the Theory test, please call us to discuss what options are available.
How soon can I take the driving test?
This all depends on when we can find the earliest available test for you. We will consider your preferred date, time and test centre location and work closely with you.
Am I guaranteed to pass?
We are unable offer a guaranteed pass with our courses. However, we have an excellent success rate. You will be given all the training required to pass the driving test but it all depends on how you perform. If you don’t get the result you were looking for the first time round, ESA Driving School offers discounts if you wanted to book a short refresher course.
Can I take my test on a weekend?
Yes, it is possible to take your test on a weekend. If you prefer a weekend test please inform us when booking your course.
